So I failed my resolution. I participated. Twice.
This is what I learned:

1. Sometimes it really is just lust.
2. Sometimes its just bad luck.
3. Your cell phone is not your friend.
4. Vodka, however, is your friend.
5. Even Jesus jokes get old.
6. You really do get stronger, and it really does get easier.
7. Cry.
